Identification Technologies

VRT provides Track and Trace solutions based on both Barcode and RFID identification technologies for the industrial market. To meet the often-extreme demands of our industries, we have developed rugged, high performance RFID tags and readers. To cater for the specialised information processing requirements, we have developed a generic tracking software platform (database, messaging, device and ERP interfaces, application development, etc.) called P-trak. A specialised set of P-trak applications caters for those needs of warehouse tracking which fall outside the capability of ERP systems. This is applicable to industrial spare parts &/or tools stores, rotable spares, critical/expensive equipment, etc.

Our readers are matched with widely available RFID tags, custom-mounted in our TuffTag casings tailored to your specific application.

VRT are now able to supply RFID tags in specially mounted ruggedised casings designed for industrial application.

VRT RFID Readers

Readers have been designed to work in harsh industrial environments, where close proximity to metal or RF interference from Variable Speed Drives can prevent other readers from operating. The readers are available in a range of models, from fixed mounting, to portable wand readers. Remote mounted sensors are available.
