Regional Utility Management System (RUMS)
To facilitate economic and environmental benefits for large complex sites or multi-site organisations, VRT has developed comprehensive information repository and reporting system called RUMS (Regional Utility Management System). RUMS provides three main functions: accurate measurement of consumption, monitoring & control, as well as management reporting. Built on modern technologies such as Microsoft's SQL-Server and web services, the RUMS Reporter system is an organisation wide monitoring and management system for the serious energy management team, such as Australia's Department of Defence.

Sustainability Portal (RUMS-SP) is a web based portal application
designed to provide energy and utility consumption profiling and reporting,
report on recycling of waste products, facilitate benchmarking, foster community
awareness, encourage improved processes and practices, provide tools to
manage facility infrastructure and better manage all sustainability matters.

RUMS
SCADA is a utility management framework for CitectSCADA™ that
integrates the RUMS reporting engine with a CitectSCADA system. RUMS SCADA
enables RUMS to gather energy consumption and quality data from a
CitectSCADA connected metering network, and also includes meter management
functions to provide a single configuration point for managing utility
meters. RUMS SCADA is built on the foundation of VRT's Enterprise Navigator,
which provides advanced alarm and trend displays, and an energy management
oriented library of templates and reusable components to accelerate project
implementation. Download an

WAGES Hub.
Many Australian
companies are actively (frantically?) involved in implementing systems to help
them comply with the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act (NGER), Energy Efficiency Opportunities
(EEO) and other similar programmes. Many have inadequate metering installed to
reliably gather the required information. Some only have pulse meters for
electricity, gas and water, but need to report interval consumption. Where
multifunction electricity meters are installed, they often have no on board
memory to cater for loss of comms. To help address this situation, VRT has
developed the WAGES Hub. Download an Overview of the

EAS: Emissions Accounting System.
Handle your legislated greenhouse gas management requirements with EAS. VRT has developed an Emissions Accounting System,
based on a best-of-breed product integration, to cater for the data acquisition,
storage and reporting of greenhouse gas related information.
