real-time data collection and integration with corporate systems. Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition, as well as
Manufacturing Execution Systems, continues to be an important element in plant control and

Track & Trace.
VRT provides Track and Trace solutions based on both Barcode and RFID
identification technologies for the industrial market. To meet the often
extreme demands of our industries, we have developed rugged, high
performance RFID tags and readers. To cater for the specialised information
processing requirements, we have developed a generic tracking software
platform (database, messaging, device and ERP interfaces, application
development, etc.) called P-trak. A specialised set of P-trak applications
caters for those needs of warehouse tracking which fall outside the
