VRT was chosen to coordinate and develop standards for the mine's electrical control system. This included the development of a new Citect enterprise shell which was designed to harness robust engineering standards and reduce Citect engineering time. The Citect enterprise shell has centralised the SCADA system's configuration data and enabled the mine's the system to be fully maintained off site.
