Our People
VRT retains a core of professionals from computing, engineering, systems and management backgrounds, supplemented by selected individuals from specialist areas. We also utilise resources from our partner organisations where required, specifically, Optimate and Emgen.
Some of our key staff:
John Meehan
is a veteran of 35 years experience in industrial automation and information
systems design and implementation. John has owned and operated technology
based businesses for the last 20 years, with 10 of those in an international
arena. John also has a successful track record in other aspects of business,
finance and investment.
Daryl Kucks has been at the
forefront of SCADA and communications systems design and implementation for over
30 years. He
is very highly regarded in the SCADA community for his ability to deliver
practical solutions for complex projects.
Ken Johnson
has over 15 years experience in information systems design, implementation and support. Ken
is skilled in a number of SCADA packages. His skills as a project manager
were instrumental in VRT being awarded an Australian Institute of Engineers
Excellence Award for the RUMS project for the Department of Defence.
Mark Oellermann
has 15 years in industrial information systems design, development,
implementation and support. Mark is proficient in a broad range of technologies (Unix,
Microsoft, web, database, mobile computing) and has a track record of world leading
concept and product development. Mark's recent overseas working experience (4 years)
focussed on networking, data security and business continuity issues and solutions.
